• Reporting II LIBA 9354

    Our Reporting II course is intended to simulate the environment of a newsroom in order to help you build on the basics introduced in our LIBA 9322 (Reporting I) course. Using a computer lab, practice completing news assignments that encompass the breadth of print and online reporting while focusing on hard news and rewrites. Learn to cover actual news events through in-the-field assignments that help you develop skills in breaking news journalism, including working to real-time deadlines. Also acquire the skills you need to craft leads and headlines specifically for online audiences.

    You must have completed our LIBA 9322 Reporting I course or an approved equivalent.
