Power of Light PHOT 9043 Email to a Friend Improving your familiarity with light as a tool can often be the key to improving your photographs. Our Power of Light course is designed for those who want to deepen their understanding of how existing light can be used to build strong photographs. Learn how to use the existing light to transform everyday snapshots into great photographs through hands-on practice (class exercises, location work, assignments), discussions and in-depth evaluations of the photos you create. Work with such subject matter as people, interiors and urban landscapes to explore composition, dynamic range, exposure, colour temperature and post-production. This photography course also gives you a grounding in the basics of external flash technique. Note(s) Course Essentials: You will be required to provide your own digital single-lens reflex (DSLR) camera. Disclaimer: This course does not cover studio lighting.
