Part 3 Fire Protection BLDG 9239 Email to a Friend Our Part 3 Fire Protection course is a detailed technical course. This building code course deals with incombustible construction, closures, continuity of fire separations and firewalls, spatial separation and exposure protection while using referenced standards that are outside the Ontario Building Code. Note(s) Course Essentials: You must bring a copy of the 2012 Building Code Compendium and the Part 3: Fire Protection technical manual to the first class. The compendium and manual are both available for purchase at the George Brown College bookstore (either on campus or online). (You must have your confirmation of registration to purchase the Part 3: Fire Protection technical manual from our bookstore.) The compendium can also be purchased at the ServiceOntario Publications website. Disclaimer: The Ministry of Municipal Affairs (MMA) exam is not included.
