Part 3 - Fire Protection BLDG 9239 Email to a Friend Our Part 3 - Fire Protection course deals with incombustible construction, closures, continuity of fire separations and firewalls, spatial separation and exposure protection while using referenced standards that are outside the Ontario Building Code. Note(s) This course should not be confused with our BLDG 9262 Fire Protection - 2012 course, which is intended mainly for inspectors whose duties relate to plans, review or inspection regarding fire suppression, fire detection firefighting and fire safety. You must bring a copy of the 2012 Building Code Compendium and the Part 3 – Fire Protection manual to the first class. The compendium and manual are both available for purchase at the George Brown College bookstore (either on campus or online). The compendium can also be purchased at the ServiceOntario Publications website, and the manual can also be purchased at the Ontario Building Code Training Courses website. You must have your confirmation of registration to purchase the Part 3 – Fire Protection manual.
