    Our Nutrition and Culture course explorex the cultures, foods and nutritional standards of major ethnic groups in urban Canada. Examine how ethnic origin, religious and spiritual beliefs and traditions determine food choices. Understand the challenges of changing eating habits in a new environment and chronic disease rates in ethnic populations. Gain insight into how to use both cultural and nutritional knowledge in order to provide nourishing food.
