Our North American Wines courses helps you develop your knowledge of the wines and wine regions of the United States (US) and Canada. Study the diverse styles of wines from across the US and Canada, and explore similarities and differences by acquiring a greater understanding of regional characteristics. Learn to apply your wine knowledge to each region, including British Columbia, Ontario, California, the Pacific Northwest, New York and other up-and-coming North American wine regions. Practice the evaluative skills you need to make informed wine selections and to better understand the growing variety of styles made in the US and Canada.

Prerequisites

You must be at least 19 years of age and you must have completed our HOST 9008 Wines 1 course or our HOST 9172 Wines 1 (Online) course. (An approved equivalent is also acceptable.)
