• Medical Skin Care Therapist Certificate

Our Medical Skin Care Therapist Certificate teaches you everything you must know to become an expert in skin care and post-treatment makeup. Working with professional skin care lines, develop the skills you need to perform classic and specialized facials as well as anti-aging, hyperpigmentation, rosacea and acne treatments. Study massage therapies (Swedish, lymphatic drainage and pressure point) and advanced skin care treatments (microdermabrasion, chemical peels, oxygen facials and intense pulsed light [IPL] therapy). Complete your studies by learning to apply camouflage and post-surgery makeup using professional-grade mineral cosmetics. Practice what you learn by performing services – on classmates, models and clients – in the classroom and in the school spa. Finally, learn how to create a professional resumé and prepare for a formal interview while also examining what is required to open and successfully run your own business. This esthetics certificate gives you the knowledge and techniques you need to be able to work at the highest level of professionalism.
