Makeup for Estheticians FASH 9275 Email to a Friend Our Makeup for Estheticians course is intended to complement your existing skin care knowledge. This specialized makeup course gives you the skills you need to be able to provide the finishing touches for your clients before they leave the salon or spa. Learn how to create the look of flawless skin as well as how to do both day makeup and evening makeup. Study the techniques used in camouflage and post-surgery makeup applications. Public health standards, personal appearance, professionalism, etiquette and communication are integral parts of this course. Note(s) Classroom and Exam Policies: You will be required to work on other students and to let other students work on you in order to gain the skills you need to work on models and clients. You will also be required to bring your own model on occasion and for practical exams. Course Essentials: You must purchase our makeup kit from the Makeup and Esthetics Student Store for this course. Our makeup kit costs $200 (plus tax) in addition to the course fee and includes everything you need for this course. Dress Code: You will be required to wear comfortable shoes, our esthetics uniform and no enhancements on your nails at all times in class. If you do not already own one, you must purchase our uniform from the Makeup and Esthetics Student Store at a cost of $90 (plus tax). Prerequisite(s) You must have completed grade 12 English.
