Litigation for Law Clerks LAW 9014 Exam Preparation Email to a Friend Our Litigation for Law Clerks course – intended for experienced legal assistants or law clerks – focuses on civil practice that involves researching, drafting pleadings, preparing documents for court proceedings, preparing documentary evidence, preparing for and assisting at trial and appeals, and conducting examinations in aid of the execution and enforcement of orders. Note(s) ILCO Exam: This course prepares you for the Institute of Law Clerks of Ontario (ILCO) Litigation exam. You must register in and pay for this course through George Brown College and register in and pay for the Litigation exam through the ILCO. The exam fee is $160, and the exam will be written on Monday, March 11, 2019. You must complete and submit to the ILCO the Litigation exam registration form before the registration deadline (February 25, 2019) in order to sit the exam. Your final grade will be issued by the ILCO after you complete the exam. Recommendation(s) You will have the most success in this course if you already have a secondary school diploma and two years of related work experience in the legal field and a good command of written English before you start this course.
