    Our Life Safety Systems Electronics Exam is intended for those wishing to receive recognition by the Canadian Fire Alarm Association (CFAA) for completion of our ELNC 9115 Life Safety Systems Electronics course.

    You have a maximum of two attempts to pass the exam before you are required to repeat our ELNC 9115 Life Safety Systems Electronics course.

    Equivalencies:

    This exam paired with ELNC 9115 Life Safety Systems Electronics are equivalent to the Course 4 - Life Safety Systems Electronics (LSSE) course offered by the Canadian Fire Alarm Association (CFAA), which meets one of the requirements of the Fire Alarm Technician Training Program.     Exam Delivery Method:

    This is a proctored online exam with continuous intake registration. That means you can register at any time throughout the year (24 hours a day, 7 days a week). Register in the section (CRN) with the Date(s) range that includes the date on which you plan to write the exam. Once you register, you must wait one week and then contact a test location – the CFAA office or a George Brown College assessment centre – to arrange to write the exam. (If you live outside the Greater Toronto Area, you can arrange to write a paper-based version of the exam at a location approved by the department co-ordinator.) When you have completed the exam, your results will be communicated electronically to you, the college and the CFAA.

    Prerequisite(s)

    You must have completed our ELNC 9115 Life Safety Systems Electronics course. You must present proof and photo identification at the exam.
