    Our Life Safety Systems Electronics Exam is intended for those wishing to receive recognition by the Canadian Fire Alarm Association (CFAA) for completion of our ELNC 9068 (Life Safety Systems Electronics)/ELNC 9115 (Life Safety Systems Electronics) course (CFAA Course 4 - Basic Electronics). It is a requirement for those working toward achieving registration as a CFAA technician.

    This is an online exam, and registration is offered through continuous intake (meaning registration is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week throughout the year). Register in the section (CRN) with the Date(s) range that includes the date on which you plan to write the exam (keeping in mind that you must wait one week after registering to book your exam). This exam has been designed to be completed at either the CFAA office or a George Brown College assessment centre. (If you live outside the Greater Toronto Area, you can arrange to write a paper-based version of the exam at a location approved by the department co-ordinator.) Once you register, it is your responsibility to contact a test location to arrange to write the exam. When you have completed the exam, your results will be communicated electronically to you, the college and the CFAA. You have a maximum of two attempts to pass the exam before you are required to repeat our ELNC 9068 Life Safety Systems Electronics/ELNC 9115 Life Safety Systems Electronics course.

    Prerequisite(s)

    You must have completed our ELNC 9068 Life Safety Systems Electronics/ELNC 9115 Life Safety Systems Electronics course. You must present proof and photo identification at the exam.
