    The Canada Green Building Council (CaGBC) offers the LEED Energy and Atmosphere Credits course as part of their LEED Strategic Practices (LSP) Program. This intensive LEED course helps you understand energy reduction strategies and the documentation requirements for the Energy and Atmosphere credit category. Examine energy performance and measurement documentation requirements as well as the use of renewable energy sources. Learn about how energy and refrigerant use contribute to global warming and other environmental impacts and how changes to design can reduce operating costs and environmental footprints.

    Course Delivery Method:

    This is an online course delivered through CaGBC Central, an interactive e-learning platform. It consists of a combination of recorded videos, individual assignments and assessments. Each week, you will be required to view the presentation, complete one or more assignments and complete an assessment. Online instructional support is available throughout the course. You will have six weeks from the day you receive access to the course to complete the course. Once you complete the course, you will be able to download a certificate of completion directly from the course’s virtual classroom.

    At this time, the course will be heavily focused on LEED 2009 due to the high volume of 2009 project submissions expected over the next two to three years.
