LEED Construction Credits and Process BLDG 9297 New Online Email to a Friend The Canada Green Building Council (CaGBC) offers the LEED Construction Credits and Process course as part of their LEED Strategic Practices (LSP) Program. This intensive LEED course helps you understand the general design process schedule as well as the critical interjection points for LEED requirements and documentation. Learn about the function and responsibilities of the LEED Consultant, the project manager and the quality controller and how to assign roles for each credit. Note(s) Course Delivery Method: This is an online course delivered through CaGBC Central, an interactive e-learning platform. It consists of a combination of live webinars, recorded videos, individual assignments, group discussions and assessments. Each week, you will be required to view the presentation (live or pre-recorded), complete one or more assignments, participate in the online discussion and complete an assessment. Online instructional support is available throughout the course. You will have six weeks from the day you receive access to the course to complete the course. Once you complete the course, you will be able to download a certificate of completion directly from the course’s virtual classroom. Disclaimer: At this time, the course will be heavily focused on LEED 2009 due to the high volume of 2009 project submissions expected over the next two to three years. Recommendation(s) You are not required to have any green building experience. However, you will have the most success in this course if you already have foundational knowledge in green building – through the LEED Green Associate credential, the LEED Core Concepts and Strategies course or BLDG 9296 Introduction to LEED and the Integrated Design Process (the first course of the LSP Program) – before you start this course.
