Jewellery - From Clay to Metal JEWL 9083 Email to a Friend Our Jewellery - From Clay to Metal course explores new "metal clay" technology. This process transforms fine silver, gold or copper microscopic particles – suspended in a non-toxic organic binder with the look and consistency of modeling clay – into a solid piece of metal. Use your hands and a wide variety of simple tools to turn the clay into any shape, which, after firing in a kiln, will retain its original form and convert into a solid metal piece. Note(s) You will be required to provide your own tools and any extra clay that you want to use. You may bring a stainless steel cutting tool if you have one. The teacher will provide a list of other required tools during the first class.
