Introduction to Nursing Theory NURS 1109 Email to a Friend Our Introduction to Nursing Theory course looks at how nursing theories relate to nursing practice and how they are applied. Learn about the history and development of nursing as a science, the characteristics of theories, conceptual models and frameworks, patterns of knowing and selected nursing theories developed by Watson, Leininger and Benner.
