Introduction to Health Law LAW 2024 Email to a Friend Our Introduction to Health Law course helps you understand Canadian and Ontario law and ethics as they relate to regulated health professionals practicing in Ontario. In particular, the course examines the different ways the law governs regulated health professionals, including the legal structure of health care in Canada, self-regulation and professional conduct of Ontario health professionals and the law of privacy and informed consent. Practice your understanding of the concepts and learn to identify the medical, legal and ethical issues at play through facilitated class discussions about situations you may encounter in your career.
