Introduction to Electrical Equipment ELCL 9085

Our Introduction to Electrical Equipment course is intended for those in the construction and maintenance trades and teaches basic wiring and troubleshooting of electrical circuitry. This practical electrical course helps you build an understanding of the construction and operation of various kinds of electrical equipment (switches, receptacles, fuses, lights, batteries, coils, transformers) and examines the Canadian Electrical Code requirements as they apply to residential occupancies.

Course Essentials:

You must have and wear your own CSA-approved safety footwear and protective eyewear while in shop areas.

Prerequisites

You must have completed our ELCL 9005 Electrical Construction and Maintenance 1 (Online) course. (An approved equivalent is also acceptable.)
