    OntarioLearn description: Various ways of acquiring, analyzing and converting data for your Internet Map Project will be studied along with Geographic Markup Language and Web Map Services. Open-source and commercial solutions to serving geographical data and common tasks, pitfalls and issues involved in creating maps will be examined. Main software used in this course is Mapserver and Google Maps.

    Prerequisite(s)

    You must have completed COMP 9518 Introduction to Geographic Information Systems or an approved equivalent.
