    The Institute for Performance and Learning (formerly the Canadian Society for Training and Development [CSTD]), Canada's leading association of workplace learning professionals, sets the standards for training and development in Canada. The Institute recognizes that this certificate addresses the categories outlined in its Competencies for Training and Development Professionals.

    Advanced Standing

    Once you start this certificate, you are eligible for student membership with The Institute for Performance and Learning. As soon as you have completed this certificate, you will be eligible for a credit of one year toward the work experience requirement of The Institute's Certified Training and Development Professional (CTDP) designation.     Completion Details

    We recommend that you complete the compulsory courses in the order shown below. However, the order in which you complete the course requirements is only restricted by course prerequisites. You must achieve a cumulative grade average of B- (70%) or better to be eligible to request the certificate upon completion.
