Fire Alarm Recertification Exam EX 11 Continuous Intake Online Email to a Friend Our Fire Alarm Recertification Exam is intended for those wishing to maintain their registration as Canadian Fire Alarm Association (CFAA) technicians as per articles 2.9 and 2.20 of the OFM-TG-04-1999 (Criteria and Process for Evaluating Programs for Training of Persons Testing, Inspecting and Maintaining Fire Alarm Systems). Note(s) This is an online exam, and registration is offered through continuous intake (meaning registration is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week throughout the year). Register in the section (CRN) with the Date(s) range that includes the date on which you plan to write the exam (keeping in mind that you must wait one week after registering to book your exam). This exam has been designed to be completed at either the CFAA office or a George Brown College assessment centre. (If you live outside the Greater Toronto Area, you can arrange to write a paper-based version of the exam at a location approved by the department co-ordinator.) Once you register, it is your responsibility to contact a test location to arrange to write the exam. When you have completed the exam, your results will be communicated electronically to you, the college and the CFAA.
