Our Essential Skills for Student Service course explores essential student advising and support skills through practical topics such as active listening, interviewing, needs diagnosis, oral and written documentation for incident reporting, consultation skills, using social media platforms, teamwork, working with diverse clients, crisis de-escalation and adviser self-care.
