• Essential Skills for Student Service TETR 9073

    Successful student advisors need to access a wide range of skills in order to support student learning. Through our Essential Skills for Student Service course, explore essential student advising and support skills through practical topics such as active listening, interviewing, needs diagnosis, oral and written documentation for incident reporting, consultation skills, using social media platforms, teamwork, working with diverse clients, crisis de-escalation and advisor self-care.

    Prerequisite(s)

    You must have completed our TETR 9072 Introduction to Student Advising and Support course or an approved equivalent.
