Digital Illustration COMP 9588 Online Option Email to a Friend Our Digital Illustration course allows you to explore illustration techniques and concepts using a Cintiq digital tablet. With a pressure-sensitive stylus, learn techniques in Adobe Illustrator that focus on expanding your creativity and artistic style. Enjoy tutorials and critiques while producing finished images suitable for commercial illustration or a design portfolio. Note(s) Course Delivery Method: This is normally an in-class course but will be offered temporarily online via Blackboard while college buildings are closed. Session recordings will also be available for students to re-watch. Course Essentials: You will have access to a Cintiq digital drawing tablet in class. However, you are strongly encouraged to purchase your own tablet within the first few weeks of class. The teacher will make recommendations at the beginning of the course to assist you with your purchase. Technical/Computer Requirements: Refer to the basic technology requirements for Blackboard online courses. Recommendation(s) Although an Adobe Creative Cloud course is not a prerequisite, you may be required to pass a skills assessment during the first few weeks of class in order to continue with this course. You will have the most success in this course if you have already completed our COMP 9591 Introduction to Adobe Creative Cloud course before you start this course.
