Dental Radiography I DENT 9239 Email to a Friend Our Dental Radiography I course provides an introduction to the principles and applications of intraoral radiographic techniques and quality assurance procedures and helps you meet the requirements of the Healing Arts Radiation Protection (HARP) Act. Through this pre-clinical course, learn how to process and mount dental radiographs, how to recognize and solve faulty radiographs and how to identify normal radiographic landmarks. Develop the skills you need to be able to expose and process radiographs of diagnostic value through laboratory practice of various intraoral radiographic techniques and radiation safety protocols. Note(s) You must attend 100% of the classes scheduled to pass this course. There are no make-up opportunities for missed radiography lab practice. You will also be required to provide your own uniform for clinical practice. Prerequisite(s) You must also be taking or must have completed our DENT 9271 Dental Anatomy course.
