Dementia and Related Cognitive Disorders GERT 9015 Email to a Friend Our Dementia and Related Cognitive Disorders course teaches you about the onset, signs, symptoms, stages and causes of cognitive impairment and about the differences between normal aging and dementia. Explore the different forms of dementia such as Alzheimer’s disease, Pick’s disease, multi-infarct dementia and other neurological disorders characterized by cognitive and behavioural changes. Study the differences between delirium, depression and dementia, and consider basic cognitive assessment screening tools.
