Caregiver Skills and Issues GERT 9017 Email to a Friend Through our Caregiver Skills and Issues course, examine the caregiver experience, and consider the emotional, social and physical impact of caring for and/or living with a person with dementia. Develop the skills you need to interact and collaborate effectively with other professionals and family caregivers (who may come with diverse backgrounds and needs). Learn to navigate community resources in a way that supports dementia care and families and to identify and mitigate caregiver stress and burnout issues.
