    Exam Preparation Online

    Review and become more familiar with the Ontario Building Code requirements related to building structures. Our Building Structural - 2012 course is an introduction to and overview of the structural requirements found in the Building Code, and focuses on Volume 1, Division B of the Code. 

    Note(s)

    • This course does not address structural engineering principles and design methods.
    • This is an overview/refresher course for experienced practitioners. The Building Code exam for this course is offered by Humber College on behalf of the Ministry of Municipal Affairs (MMA). Exam information is found on the MMA website.
    • This is an online course. Please ensure you are familiar with the basic technology requirements for online courses.
    • You must have a copy of the 2012 Building Code Compendium before you begin this course. The compendium is available for purchase at the George Brown College bookstore (either on campus or online) or at the ServiceOntario Publications website.

    Prerequisite(s)

    You must have general knowledge of building design or the construction building process.
