Building Code Regulation BLDG 9286 Email to a Friend The Ontario Building Code is a complex and ever-evolving piece of legislation. Before you can properly administer the code, you must understand how the regulation developed. Our Building Code Regulation course covers the fundamentals of this legislation as well as some of the other legislation that a building official is required to consider during the enforcement process. This building code course also helps you develop the skills you need to deal with people who fail to comply with the law during construction. Note(s) Course Essentials: You must bring a copy of the 2012 Building Code Compendium to the first class. The compendium is available for purchase at the George Brown College bookstore (either on campus or online), at our Building Code and Trade Manuals website and at the Publications Ontario website.
