Building Code Regulation BLDG 9286 New Email to a Friend The Ontario Building Code is a complex and ever-evolving piece of legislation. Before you can properly administer the code, you must understand how the regulation developed. Our Building Code Regulation course covers the fundamentals of this legislation as well as some of the other legislation that a building official is required to consider during the enforcement process. This course also helps you develop the skills you need to deal with people who fail to comply with the law during construction. Note(s) Course Essentials: You must bring a copy of the 2012 Building Code Compendium and the Building Code Regulation Participant Manual to the first class. The compendium and manual are both available for purchase at the George Brown College bookstore (either on campus or online). The compendium can also be purchased at the ServiceOntario Publications website, and the manual can also be purchased at the Ontario Building Code Training Courses website.
