    Continuous Intake Online

Our Basic Sanitation course is our food handler certification course. Once you have passed this course, you are eligible for food handler certification from Toronto Public Health. Also check out our in-class Basic Sanitation course.

    Course Delivery Method:

This is an online course with continuous intake registration. That means this course does not have traditional start/end dates. You can register at any time throughout the year (24 hours a day, 7 days a week), and and you will have until the end date of the section (CRN) in which you are registered to complete the course. Register in the section (CRN) with the Date(s) range that includes the date on which you plan to start the course (keeping in mind that you will receive your course details approximately a week after you register). Make sure you are familiar with the basic technology requirements for online courses.

The final exam for this course is held at our St. James Campus in Toronto, Ontario. The exam will be scheduled for the last class of the section (CRN) in which you are registered and, if you miss it, you must register in and pay for an additional section in order to rewrite the exam. If you live too far away to come to that campus, email cehospitality@georgebrown.ca to arrange to have your exam supervised by an approved test centre.
