• Acting 3: Audition Techniques THEA 9019

Our Acting 3: Audition Techniques course explores the various tools and techniques that can help you during theatre auditions. The focus of this acting course is on how you create "inner circumstances" (a sense of time and place), how to experiment with props and wardrobe and how to do cold reads. Learn how to deconstruct and decipher a script in a short period of time. Explore a variety of audition scenarios, including improvisation, script readings, auditioning with other actors and establishing the "moment before." Practice your skills by preparing and performing two contrasting monologues in a mock theatre audition scenario.
