Yorkville School of Makeup and Esthetics

Learn in state-of-the-art facilities
imageClasses are taught in six studios designed exclusively for makeup, nails and esthetics training, including a bamboo-floored lecture hall with a stage for lectures, master classes and product demonstrations. Our goal is to give you the very best training available, along with the most realistic work experience possible, by providing a modern, professional setting with real clients. Our European-spa-like environment is designed to ensure an easy transition from school to salon or spa.

Set your own schedule
Study as your time and budget allow. Choose to fast-track by building your schedule full-time, or choose a part-time schedule by selecting from morning, afternoon, evening and weekend courses. The Yorkville School of Makeup and Esthetics offers you previously unavailable flexibility in how you choose to complete your training, allowing you to pursue certificates at your own pace.

Our instructors are currently working within the industry, keeping themselves up-to-date, connected and at the top of their form. Courses are taught by industry leaders in professional makeup application; skin and beauty care; special effects makeup for theatre, film and television; manicure; pedicure and more. Our courses and certificates are constantly updated to reflect industry demands, providing you with the most current training.

Hands-on training and professional experience
Students in the advanced level courses are given the opportunity to hone their skills with clients in the Yorkville School's salon and spa, which offers services such as makeup application, manicures, pedicures, facials, waxing and body treatments.

Connected to industry
The Yorkville School's curriculum truly reflects current and future needs of the beauty industry and prepares you for success in a competitive field. Our courses and certificates are constantly updated to reflect industry demands, providing you with the most current training. You are taught and mentored by dedicated and talented instructors who bring expertise and experience from their work as professionals to the classroom. We help you build a résumé of work experience and make connections with local employers. Job opportunities are posted on our job board weekly and are available to all current students and graduates.
