Prepare, bake and/or cook many of the dishes associated with traditional Chinese festivals. Explore such wonders as New Year fried peanut-filled cookies, moon cakes and glutinous rice and meat wraps in bamboo leaves as well as such wedding favourites as wife's pastry and thousand-year egg crisp.

Note(s):

A full George Brown chef uniform is required for this course. Tool requirements will be discussed in the first class.


  Prerequisites: You must have completed HOSF 9088 (Culinary Arts I) or an approved equivalent.

  Fee: $297.00, (includes cost of food used in class) plus cost of tools
