This course covers basic Revit modelling concepts. Topics include project creation, display concepts, components, levels, walls, doors, windows, floor and roof objects, view properties, styles, family components, dimensions, annotations, drawing sheets and plotting procedures.

You will need to meet these technical requirements for this course.
  • 3 GHz processor or faster
  • Autodesk software
  • 2 GB RAM (3 GB for 3D modelling and other advanced courses)
  • 2 GB available hard disk space
  • 16-bit sound card
  • Speakers or headphones
  • Windows Media Player 9 Series or better
  • DVD drive
  • Microsoft Windows XP (Home or Professional Edition), Vista or 7

Important Information
  • This course is continuous intake. This means you may register in it at any time (24 hours a day, 7 days a week), and you have 120 calendar days from the day you receive the course materials to complete the course. To register, select the CRN with the date range that includes the date on which you want to start the course. Please keep in mind that your materials will take approximately a week to arrive once you register.
  • Course materials are sent via courier.
  • If you live outside the province of Ontario, you may be charged an additional fee to cover the cost of shipping the course materials. (Fee will vary according to location.)
  • Course DVDs do not run on Macintosh computers.
  • There is no refund on materials for this course.
