Certified Tea Sommelier Certificate

Created in partnership with the Tea Association of Canada, this certificate has been designed for those hospitality or culinary arts professionals wishing to explore the distinguished world of a tea sommelier or for those so committed to the consumption of tea that they wish to become tea sommeliers themselves. Learn how to cup, taste, blend and consume teas from all around the world. From the comfort of the classroom, take a global tour of countries that grow and produce tea.

Completion Details:

You must complete HOST 9147 (Introduction to Tea) prior to taking the other courses in this certificate. The order in which you complete the remaining course requirements is only restricted by course prerequisites. You must pass all the course requirements in this certificate as well as the Tea Association of Canada’s Tea Sommelier Certification Examto be eligible to request the certificate upon completion. You must register and pay for the Tea Sommelier Certification Exam with the Tea Association of Canada. The exam fee is $250 (plus tax).
